What is shut, and what is not
At three in the morning the shops, the counters, the offices, the dry cleaner and the vet are shut. So a night run nearly always goes from one door to another, carrying something that already exists.

Three in the morning is not three in the afternoon.
At night nearly everything that might have rescued you is shut, and the answers you would have reached for in daylight are gone. We take orders at any hour, with the same verified couriers and the same codes as at noon.
Somebody has to be awake at both ends
The courier leaves nothing at a door, at night as by day, and at night there is no caretaker, no reception desk and no neighbour to catch it. Warn the person before you order. If nobody comes down, the courier waits, then the order ends and the work already done is billed.
The questions we get askedThe door code matters twice as much at night
Nobody walks across a lobby to let a stranger in at two in the morning, and some entryphones are switched off. Put the door code, the building and the floor in the pickup note. That code should appear in no photograph, though.
Order a runHow many couriers are awake
We take orders 24/7, public holidays included, and we still do not claim to run a full night team. At some hours nobody is free, and night is when that happens most. The order then stops, the hold on your card is released in full, nothing was taken and we tell you. Better to know that now than at four in the morning.
Coverage and hoursThere is no night rate
The grid holds no night rate, no weekend rate and no bank holiday rate. The price is the pickup charge plus the real route, from €8.90, shown before you confirm. The one thing that does cost more at night is waiting at the pickup, because waking somebody up takes longer. The first 5 minutes are free, then €0.35 a minute, taken after delivery.
The full price listTwo codes, when you are half awake
You get a code for the pickup and a code for the handover, and at two in the morning the second is the one to have in front of you before you open the door. The courier photographs the item at both ends and the photos stay on the order.
Trust and safetyBetween midnight and six
Night invents no new needs. It removes every other answer.
After the party
The coat, the bag, the keys left in a flat you have just walked out of. Nobody wants to recross Paris at two in the morning, least of all the person already asleep over there.
The all-nighter at the office
A laptop, a charger, a printed set of papers, between two people still working. The office is locked and the one with the badge is at home, so the run starts from their home.
The comfort toy
The child is at their grandparents' or the childminder's, and the one object that decides whether anybody sleeps tonight is still on their bed.
The night pharmacy
Prescription medicine is refused: a pharmacist has to hand it to the named patient, and a courier cannot stand in for one. The rest of the pharmacy travels, in its sealed bag, which the courier does not open and gives no advice about.
The phone on three per cent
A charger, a cable, a battery pack. Everything is on that phone, including the way home, and the shop that sells them shut six hours ago.
Ordering at one for seven in the morning
You can pick a day and a half-hour slot, up to two weeks ahead, and we look for a courier twenty minutes before it.
