Sending a parcel across Paris should not need a printer, a set of scales and an opening time. You give the address it leaves from and the address it goes to, a verified courier takes it from your door and hands it over in person at the other end, the same day.
No label to print, so no printer to find. No scales, no approved box, no relay point to locate, no queue at a counter and no opening time to catch. You give two addresses and one line about what is in the parcel.
Send a parcelThe parcel goes through no sorting centre and spends the night nowhere. It changes hands exactly twice: from you to the courier, from the courier to whoever is waiting.
How a run worksWe do not leave the covered zone, and one run stops at 25 km. If the parcel is leaving Paris, going to another region or abroad, it is not for us: a postal network reaches everywhere and we do not. And for a small parcel that can wait three days, it will often cost you less.
Check both addressesSomebody has to be there at both ends. You get a code for the pickup and a code for the handover, and the courier photographs the parcel each time. If somebody else is receiving it, give their name: they get the delivery code and the tracking, and you stay the one who pays and watches the run.
Trust and safetyThe form asks for a rough weight, never for dimensions, and the limit is 12 kg. Above five kilos a surcharge applies, and the price updates in front of you. What does not travel: cash and bank cards, jewellery, anything that has to stay cold, and anything declared above €2,000.00.
The list of refused itemsPostage is a grid of weights and zones. Here, what you pay for is the journey: the pickup charge, the real route, and weight only once it goes past five kilos, from €8.90. The whole total shows before you confirm. Crossing the street costs less than crossing Paris, which is something a stamp cannot do.
The full price listHere there is a label after all, and you are the one who prints it. The courier takes the parcel to the relay point or the carrier for you, and the handover is photographed. After that the tracking belongs to the carrier, not to us.
A private sale inside one city has no reason to go via a warehouse and back. The parcel goes from your place to theirs, and neither of you moves.
Counters have opening hours and we do not. Orders go through at night, at the weekend and on public holidays.
An item already paid for and ready to collect: the courier picks it up in your name and brings it to you. You give the shop, the name on the order and whatever has to be shown at the counter.
One run goes from one address to another. Two parcels for two people are two runs, and each has its own price, its own courier and its own codes.
The parcel travels in a backpack or a top box, not on a pallet. Fragile things travel if they are packed for the journey; badly protected, they are turned down at pickup.
