What you can buy is your place in the queue.

What you choose as you order

Standard costs nothing extra: the run goes out to couriers and the first one free takes it. Express adds €10.00. Flash adds €25.00, and it is the highest tier. You tick one, the total updates in front of you, and you confirm after that.

What the surcharge buys

Your place in the queue. At the hours when several runs are waiting at once, a Flash run is offered to couriers ahead of an Express, and an Express ahead of a standard one. Whoever takes it keeps it at the front of their round.

Why paying actually moves somebody

The surcharge goes into the run itself, it is not collected on the side. The courier who accepts it gains from it, and that is why they drop what they were doing. A surcharge the platform kept in full would get nobody moving.

What no tier can buy you

An arrival time. We promise none, on any tier, because nobody can guarantee one across Paris and no courier should ride faster than the law to keep a promise we made on their behalf. Paying moves you up the queue. It does not move the traffic.

The total, line by line

The run is worked out from the pickup charge and the real route, from €8.90 with nothing ticked. The speed surcharge is a separate line you choose. The total is the two added together, shown before you confirm, and it does not move afterwards.

And if you are not in that much of a hurry

Most runs go out as standard and arrive perfectly well. You can also order for later: a day and a half-hour slot, up to two weeks ahead, and we look for a courier twenty minutes before it. Paying for speed you do not need is just paying.

How long it takes to find somebody

It is the most variable part of the run, and it is the part the surcharge is aimed at. At some hours nobody is free: the order stops, the hold on your card is released in full, and we tell you.

The road, not the straight line

The trip is measured on real streets. Two addresses three kilometres apart as the crow flies can sit on opposite banks of the Seine, with a bridge and two sets of lights in between. The price follows the road, and so does the courier.

Waiting at the pickup

The courier marks that they have arrived, and the meter starts. The first 5 minutes are free, then it is €0.35 a minute, taken after delivery. Being ready at the door is the only free way to go faster.

The floor, the door code, the entryphone

Put the door code and the floor in the pickup note. A courier hunting for a bell in a courtyard loses more minutes than any surcharge wins back. That code has no business in a photo, though.

What is not ready to go

A parcel being taped shut while the courier waits, an address with nobody at it, a shop order not yet paid for. None of that goes faster for money.

What one run cannot do

One run goes from one address to another, carries what a courier carries on their own, up to 12 kg, and stops at 25 km. Past that the form turns the order down rather than accepting something we could not do.
